We are committed to supporting entrepreneurs in the area of sports, physical activity, vitality, mental health and wellbeing by creating a seamless pathway from ideation to international scaling.

S-Sprint is our short and intensive 10-week incubation track that focuses on facilitating the process where ideas can be tested and turned into products or services ready for market entry, and into profitable businesses, and on providing support to enter the sports industry.

It offers a tailored knowledge-intensive program to support you in building a foundation for your business idea to mature and take-off.

S-Sprint is a collaboration between Sports Lab Copenhagen and the Danish Board of Business Development (Erhvervshus Hovedstaden). It is part of the Beyond Beta acceleration and incubation program for Danish startups, which is itself an EU-funded program.

Sports Startup Bridging is a collaboration between Sports Lab Copenhagen and 3 leading universities in Denmark to support student and researcher entrepreneurs in-residence with expertise and mentorship in the areas of sports tech and innovation.

We are collaborating with the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), the University of Copenhagen (KU) and Aalborg University (AAU). The program is financially supported by the Danish Foundation for Entrepreneurship (Fonden for Entreprenørskab) :

Nordic Sports Innovation Series is an annual collaboration with the University of Southern Denmark’s Sports Science & Biomechanical Engineering department to foster collaboration between university students and academics, and sports & health tech startups. Other universities are also invited to participate.

Students and startups are matched to solve real-world startup challenges and to co-create new solutions using design thinking methods. This takes place in the form of workshops facilitated by university professors and industry experts.

Beyond the workshop interactions, the program creates longer lasting relationships between students and startups. It provides startups with access to university resources and gives students a better understanding of the startup world, as well as project-work, internship and job opportunities.
